ABOUT
Originally from Darlington, County Durham, I have been performing in musical theatre from the age of 9, eventually moving to London to train at the Sylvia Youngs Theatre School and then the Urdang Academy for my Diploma. I graduated from college in 2017 and quickly realised how committing solely to Performing had its drawbacks. It wasn’t till the Covid 19 pandemic I decided to learn a new skill in sports massage and quickly became passionate about it.
I was ready to start my own massage studio when I got my dream job as swing and then later alternate Frankie Valli in the West End return of Jersey Boys. I spent 2 years in the show and loved it, whilst there helping the cast, crew and band occasionally as a massage therapist. Jersey Boys was a very vocally demanding show, especially as a swing, so I would often get a vocal massage, I found it incredibly useful and relieving. Naturally, I began to search for a course to learn the skill myself. In October 2023 I took a course with Charlie Ward ‘The Voc Doc’ and have since been using Laryngeal Therapy and Sports massage on performers and Athletes.
I have seen and felt first hand the pressures and strain put on Professional performers and athletes, and understand the levels we push ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves for our careers. I have also seen these therapy’s have much success over the years including with myself. I try to bring that understanding to the way I give treatments, and will work with you to help however I can.
